From Canada and the United States
In this year-end 2013, the El Catey International Airport will receive flights from North America, more specifically from Canada and the United States.
JetBlue airlines offer several flights between New York and Samana, and Air Canada, Westjet, Air Transat and Canjet will link the peninsula to the cities of Montreal and Toronto.
The Travel Service company will offer flights from Margarita Island, Venezuela, to Samaná.
For the first time since the opening of Juan Bosch airport in November 2006, European companies are totally absent in December. The crisis is real, with a decrease of 40% of applications compared to last year, and a decrease in travel during the weeks of Christmas and New Year.
