While attending the recent Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (2013), MLT Vacations, tour operator announced that it is adding a new destination to its Dominican Republic product From April 30, agents booking through MLT’s Delta Vacations and United Vacations brands can offer their clients three new resorts in the region of Samana, Dominican Republic.
The new resorts now added to MLT’s Dominican selection include Grand Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado Don Pablo Collection; Grand Bahia Principe Cayacoa; and the Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo in the town of Las Terrenas.
Samaná is 112 miles and a two-hour transfer from the Dominican capitol of Santo Domingo. Available activities include hiking, water sports, fishing, diving and whale watching.
Samaná is home to a Humpback whale sanctuary and whale-watching is very popular during the winter months. It’s just the type of travel experience that creates lifelong memories
