Southwest Airlines has extended its schedule of bookable flights through April 7, 2025. Customers can now book the low-cost carrier well into next spring, as it debuts flights beginning March 8, 2025, Southwest will expand its offerings by launching Saturday service between Nashville and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Mexico, as well as Punta Cana.
Southwest will also begin Saturday service between Sacramento and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on March 8.
In addition, overnight flights on February 13, 2025, and customers will be able to book overnight flights from Denver, San Diego, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix by March 6, 2025.
Also on March 6, the Dallas-based airline will introduce new weekday service between Austin and Milwaukee; less-than-daily flights between Austin and Reno, Nevada; daily service between Nashville and Indianapolis; and weekend flights between Sacramento and Tucson.
Meanwhile, Southwest is responding to passenger demand ahead of the college soccer season by adding additional flights between select cities this November, including Tampa and Austin; Dallas and Lubbock, Texas; Columbus and Chicago (Midway); and Cleveland and New Orleans.
“With kids heading back to school across the country, there’s no better time for parents to show their Big Flex and book an amazing spring break trip,” said Jennifer Bridie, vice president of marketing for Southwest Airlines, in a statement.
“With our world-renowned flexibility, two free checked bags and a schedule that accommodates travelers’ demands, customers can book their flights today and secure their spring getaway,” she added.
