DR to participate in Top Resa tourism fair in France

The Dominican Republic will be represented by the Ministry of Tourism and a delegation of 27 companies from the tourism sector that will act as co-exhibitors.

The 45th edition of the International French Travel Market (IFTM) Top Resa 2024 will be held from September 17-19 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris.

The inauguration of the Dominican stand, located in Hall 1, D0-42, will take place on Tuesday, September 17 at 9:30 a.m. (local French time). In addition, on Wednesday 18, the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic will organize a Road Show in the Opera Room of the InterContinental Paris – Le Grand at 7:30 p.m. (local time).

During the event, participating companies will hold meetings with tour operators, travel agencies and other industry players to promote the Caribbean destination. Banreservas will also exhibit sculptures by renowned Dominican artist Juan Trinidad, whose works celebrate the nation’s cultural roots.

IFTM Top Resa is one of the most important tourism fairs in Europe. It is the only event in France that covers multiple market segments in three days: Leisure Tourism, Business Travel, Group Tourism and Corporate Events.

For this 2024 edition, a record participation of 1,500 exhibitors and the attendance of more than 30,000 professionals, including journalists from around the world and representatives from 200 destinations, are expected. The program will also include a series of events, workshops and conferences that will provide an updated view on industry trends and the possibility of sharing experiences.

This year’s theme, “New sustainable horizons, combining our responsibilities,” underscores the event’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in global tourism.
