The destination Puerto Plata will receive 22 cruise ships this September, which will anchor in the two tourist ports of the Atlantic bride.
The information was provided by the regional director of the Ministry of Tourism, Atahualpa Paulino, who said that the schedule of ports and shipping companies contemplates that the port Amber Cove, 15 cruise ships will arrive while 7 will do so by Taino Bay, located in the bay of the city of San Felipe de Puerto Plata.
He emphasized the level of preponderance of the ports of the demarcation, which have maintained the flow of cruise ships during the 8 months of this year and a considerable increase is expected in the coming months, which demonstrates the consolidation of Puerto Plata as a cruise destination.
He highlighted that the last numbers collated, Puerto Plata had received around 1,339,343 visitors via the cruise ports, according to a communiqué.
