Hundreds of people took part in the carnival parade that took place in the streets of Las Terrenas on Wednesday afternoon, to celebrate the country’s most popular event.
This is one of the most authentic expressions of popular culture and Dominican identity. This centennial celebration is a combination of Christian traditions inherited from the Spanish and African slaves.
