The Bougroup production company presents the documentary “I live where you vacation” Vol. II, hosted by Pamela Sued, who travels to the high mountainous areas of Cibao, which the public can enjoy at the Fine Arts Cinema Café at Novo Centro starting this Thursday, August 22.
Among the rivers that meander through the valleys, in this corner of nature, peace reigns unquestionably, offering a refuge for reflection in the midst of the daily maelstrom.
It’s a journey that as Pamela explores into the mountains and immerses herself in the calmness of the slowly flowing rivers, the episode becomes a timely reminder of the accelerated speed with which we often live our lives.
“’Closer to Heaven’ stands as an invitation to pause, appreciate the quiet beauty of the mountain and indulge in moments of deep contemplation in an environment that seems closer to heaven than anywhere else.
“I live where you vacation Vol. II shows that the Dominican Republic is much more than sun, sand and beaches,” said José Ramón Alamá, Bougroup’s general producer.
The communicator in this adventure will be accompanied by Letón Pé, Javish Germoso, Carlos Sánchez and Fausto Mata, from the mountains of Cibao, where the sky overflows over the hills that bathe the mountain range.
“Today we are going closer to the sky, we are going to explore the Cibao, it was very special because it allowed us to connect with a completely different type of tourism than we are used to seeing in the Dominican Republic, we are going to experience the tourism of rivers, mountains, very particular adventures such as paragliding, river rafting, hiking and lots of adrenaline,” said host Pamela Sued.
This documentary “invites us to calm, to peace, to reflection, which is typical of such beautiful places as the ones we are going to see here”.
Meanwhile, Iván Aybar, director of this documentary series, said: “Like Pamela and the entire crew, it had a very strong impact on our lives, and made us see our land from a different perspective”.
He then added: “Everything that went into the logistics of filming all this in such unpredictable locations and getting everyone to come out unscathed, is a huge feat and you are seeing the result of all that thanks to the team that worked so hard to achieve this project.”
