+4.6% of foreign visitors
According to the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic -ASONAHORES- the arrival of foreign non-residents visitors by air has grown by 4.6%, compared to March 2012.
This increase reflects the most on visitors from the U.S., Russia and Germany. This result is positive, especially when you know the tourism crisis that affects the Caribbean region.
For Dominican Republic, the last three months had been very negative. This increase may have been caused by the Holy Week that took place in March, and not in April like the last year.
